Music Crawler is a 'scraper' site, which serves up copyright material with little or often no information about the performances or artists, and, one is left to assume, no royalty payments to the copyright and performing rights holders of the particular works and performances. Also, I found that a number of files that I did download initially were not of the claimed works at all - notwithstanding that they were from the same composer. Altogether a trash site.

Also, if you Google "Music Crawler" +complaints OR scam, you will have interesting reading with regard to the user contract side. I myself got caught by this and have now cancelled the subscription that I was rather tricked into taking out, and am about to clear their software off my computer.

I caution that it is important to ensure that one's subscription is cancelled at Plimus.com, because what Music Crawler claims to be a "lifetime subscription" or "lifetime membership" is set up in Plimus to be a recurring subscription with renewal every three years - so you want to make sure that the subscription is cancelled at Plimus, and not take Music Crawler's word on anything.
